I start each day from my Brooklyn roastary with a fresh shot of espresso and directly hop on to my iPhone. Recently, I was asked to name the two things that I could not live without, naturally I answered my fresh roasted coffee and my iPhone.

Since both consume my day I had a plan to review coffee based apps, products, and accessories. Below is My 1st review.

Spro
This is a great app, consider it your coffee education. Spro app is the how to for coffee, cappuccinos, and lattes. It is well designed with easy to follow directions and photos. Currently the app is available in the app store for $1.99. I would call this a must have for coffee lovers.

For all my local readers in Brooklyn today on 5th Avenue, we celebrates St. Patrick’s Day. This Bay Ridge / Bensonhurst staple always proves to be a festive celebration.

Since my first coffee recipe went over so well enjoy the second entry.

3 oz Fresh Roasted Coffee brewed strong
1 1/2 oz Jameson Irish whiskey
1 tsp brown sugar

Top with whipping cream and optional garish of Green Creme De Menthe

Espresso is not only for your morning jolt. Here is our recipe for Mocha Espresso Martini that you and enjoy in the night time. I would recommend using only the best products. This espresso martini tastes best with late night company…I’m not sure why?

3oz of Brewed Nicoletti Coffee Mocha Espresso (cold or chilled)
2oz of Stoil Vanilla Vodka
1oz of Kahlua Liqueur
1oz of Godiva Liqueur Dark Chocolate

Pour the ingredients over ice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Enjoy!
